It was supposed to be a normal senior trip for the Glee Club. Sugar Motta’s father paying for the trip as they explored England and spent their last moments together. Things went from amazing, to bad, to worse in the span of two weeks. Not only had they met the actual Glee Cast and learned that they were just characters, but as it was nearing their time to leave back home, they couldn’t get in touch with their families. Soon, their phones and cards weren’t working. Their identification was gone, and they were no longer living the lives they thought.
Goodbye Lima, Hello California! Thanks to the cast, the glee club kids had places to stay. However, life was now complicated. The cast was filming for episodes, and the kids had to watch their old lives be played out by actors. They no longer had identities. Dreams of NYADA, pool businesses, Yale, and acting was gone. They had no proof of education, no proof of identity. They didn’t exist.
